Wow - the most dominant qualifying of the year! So much for the TD having an effect of Red Bull and Ferrari. Can see the zero pod design for Merc for 2023 being sent to the shredder now!! .......... haha27-08-2022 18:23

I guess for Merc, Toto, Lewis, and George - it's perhaps a question of "Be careful what you wish for!" - with all of their mutterings about porpoising ad getting the rules changed for 2023 and the updated TD for Spa.27-08-2022 18:21

If that's true - why wasn't Otmar involved in the contractual discussions? Speaks volumes as to the rather poor management and communication style at Alpine! Which is why Alpine are currently in the situation they are in without a confirmed driver for 2023.25-08-2022 18:10

Clearly, the Red Bull Adrian Newey is the concept everyone will copy going forward. Alpine's and Alpha Tauri have been similar and morphing closer with each update. Aston Martin copied Williams is the latest to copy02-07-2022 15:05

Think it's fairly obvious and clear that the only person who got it right was Perez, who went from 3rd to 1st. Carlos stayed 2nd. Agree that the idea for Carlos to go straight from Wets to slicks was perhaps the best option - but it didn't work out that way in the end!30-05-2022 10:30
